Within the Hotel Gold Arcos, characterized by a highly contemporary aesthetic, the aim was to create a space that felt warmer and more welcoming, with a distinctly British-inspired style. The space in question was the hotel’s café–bar.
The defining elements of the venue’s identity are the dark tones of the joinery and wall finishes, contrasted with the fabric-paneled coffered ceilings. The bar is clearly the main focal point, featuring a backlit marble-textured backdrop that enhances its visual impact.
Oversized lamps were custom-designed and manufactured specifically for the project, conceived as strong visual attractors visible from the exterior. The furniture was upholstered in pink velvet to match the curtains, reinforcing a cohesive and expressive palette. Given the venue’s playful and leisure-oriented character, an RGB lighting system was installed to introduce greater dynamism and adaptability to different moods and times of day.
