Located in a restored former seafaring home at the marina of Altea, Nilah is a gastronomic proposal that required a visual identity commensurate with the quality of its cuisine and its exceptional setting. Its location—overlooking a leisure marina in one of the most highly regarded towns on the Alicante coast—called for sophistication, serenity, and strong visual character.
The intervention is based on a respectful reading of the original building and proposes a space defined by soft lines, filtered natural light, and warm materials, without sacrificing expressive strength. The design establishes a harmonious contrast between a sandy white base and accents in caldera-toned velvet, adding depth and refinement.
The aim was to create a welcoming, serene, and elegant atmosphere capable of hosting an international clientele—primarily Central European—seeking refined cuisine in a distinctive setting.
Design highlights:
Vegetación integrada tanto en terraza como en sala, para crear una sensación de oasis natural sin estridencias.
Nilah seeks not to stand out through excess, but through harmony and detail: a restaurant where design is an integral part of the experience, yet never imposes itself.
A serene and sophisticated space that transforms a seafaring home into a gastronomic experience with Mediterranean character and international sensibility.
