The intervention at Ozone Campo de Gibraltar forms part of a strategy for the progressive renewal of the Ozone Group’s leisure centers, a national benchmark in bowling and multigenerational entertainment.
In this case, the objective was clear:
to transform a generic container into a vibrant, visually powerful space with a recognizable emotional journey for diverse audiences.
The project does not rely on explicit theming, but rather on a design system capable of structuring uses, activating consumption, and generating a strong sense of place. All key areas of the center were addressed: the entrance, bowling lanes, arcade zone, lounge areas, and especially the interior food court.
● The entrance is conceived as a graphic and scenic threshold, with illuminated signage, suspended elements, and a lighting treatment that introduces the vibrant tone of the interior.
● The bowling and arcade areas are zoned through graphic carpeting and custom-designed luminaires, introducing patterns identifiable by age groups and types of use, without fragmenting the overall experience.
● The food court is transformed into an informal consumption plaza through metal canopies, colored cladding, warm lighting, and artificial vegetation, creating a sense of exteriority.
● Intermediate spaces and transition areas were designed with waiting benches, decorative structures, and active signage, ensuring continuity along the route and increasing dwell time.
● The overall graphic identity—bowling iconography, neon elements, bold typography, and modular motifs—reinforces the group’s brand identity, in line with other centers in Benidorm, X-Madrid, and Alcalá de Henares.
