Ozone Benidorm

The Ozone Benidorm bowling alley was a pioneer in its time. Founded in 1974 by Antonio Quereda, it was the first bowling alley in Spain equipped with certified automatic machines. It also marked the origin of the business group that would later evolve into today’s Ozone leisure center chain.
The venue required a light reconfiguration and an update aligned with the group’s contemporary aesthetic. The main decorative features include bespoke carpeting, printed metal sheet flooring, furniture and counters made of wood and expanded metal mesh, and the signature “dripping” paint effect.
A distinctive aspect of this space is the treatment of the ceiling. As the venue is located in a basement with limited height, the decision was made to remove the suspended ceiling and treat the structural slab directly with sprayed mortar. This solution not only increased the perceived height but also reinforced a more attractive industrial character.
In addition, a digital LED lighting system was incorporated at the entrance and on the façade, creating dynamic light and color effects that enhance visibility and reinforce the venue’s contemporary identity.
