Since completing my studies in Interior Design in 2001 at the EASD of Alcoy, I have worked as a freelance interior designer. I combine my own studio projects with collaborations as a project manager or creative director with other companies in the sector.
I have always been motivated to join more comprehensive, multidisciplinary teams in order to improve, learn from other professionals, and gain insight into the different facets of the design profession.
I am based in Alcoy, in the province of Alicante, where tourism plays a major role in the region’s economic activity. This context is likely one of the reasons why my main area of practice has become hospitality design—a sector in which creativity and freedom carry particular weight. Designing spaces for leisure, where people eat, drink, dance, and ultimately enjoy moments of relaxation and fun, is a genuine pleasure. At the same time, it is one of the fields in which interior design contributes most directly and significantly to a company’s bottom line.
